Casey Perdue

I'm a fifth year math PhD student at UC San Diego. My advisor is Claus Sorensen.

I’m broadly interested in algebraic number theory and p-adic representation theory. More specifically, I’m interested in studying mod p representations of p-adic reductive groups and computing their cohomology groups, possibly arising from computations involving Lie algebra cohomology, as well as understanding Hecke algebras associated to Serre weights of such p-adic reductive groups.

I'm on the job market! Here's my (extended) research statement, and here's my (extended) teaching statement.

Previously, I was:
• an undergraduate at UC Berkeley.
